Earn Your Bachelor's and Master's in just 5 Years in the Suffolk 4+1 Program

If you’re earning an undergraduate business degree at Suffolk or another U.S. institution, you may qualify to earn your MS in Accounting (MSA), MS in Business Analytics (MSBA), MS in Finance (MSF), MS in Financial Services and Banking (MSFSB), MS in Marketing (MSM), or MS in Taxation (MST), in as few as nine (9) months, or your MSA/MSF, MSA/MST or MSBA/MSA in as few as 16 months.

Suffolk University’s 4+1 Program recognizes the accomplishments of top undergraduate business students by waiving the GMAT/GRE application requirement for students who meet certain minimum qualifications. Students who qualify can earn their master’s degree in as few as nine (9) months of full-time study or 21 months of part-time study.

To qualify for the 4+1 Program for the MS in Accounting (MSA), MS in Business Analytics (MSBA), MS in Finance (MSF), MS in Financial Services and Banking (MSFSB), MS in Marketing (MSM) or MS in Taxation (MST),

  • You must be a second semester senior earning an undergraduate degree in business or economics major at a U.S. Institution.
  • If you have at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA in your final semester of your senior year, you can waive the GMAT or GRE requirement.
  • You must officially apply to the MSA, MSBA, MSF, MSFSB, MSM, MST, dual MSA/MSF, dual MSA/MST or dual MSBA/MSA program during the final semester of your senior year of undergraduate study. (Applications from recent graduates will also be considered.)
  • Top students will automatically be considered for merit-based fellowship awards. No separate application is required.

Suffolk Five Year MPA Program

Suffolk University students can earn a minor in Public Service and a master's degree in Public Administration in a total of five (5) years.

Public Service minor students may waive up to four (4) courses (12 credits) if accepted into the Suffolk Master of Public Administration program. This enables a student to complete both the undergraduate and graduate degrees in only five (5) years of full-time study. In order to waive courses, undergraduates must register for sections cross-listed with graduate level courses and earn a "B" grade or better.
