Student working with an adviser to create an Honors Independently Crafted Major.

If you are an honors student in the College of Arts and Sciences, you have the unique opportunity at Suffolk to create an Honors Independently Crafted Major (HICM). By taking courses from two or more departments or programs, you can create a major that is not otherwise offered at Suffolk. With guidance from your faculty mentors, you will develop a semester-by-semester plan for your major. If your plan is approved by the honors program, you will submit regular progress reports to the honors program and will complete a senior capstone project in the major for your senior honors experience. Students should apply no later than the sophomore year.

To get started, read through the Honors Independently Crafted Major (HICM) FAQs and contact the Honors Program Director.
